Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), the leading provider of hourly cost maintenance programs for the business aviation industry, has announced a new agreement with Advanced Technology Services, Inc. (ATS) to provide engineering support for legacy aircraft. This alignment will enhance JSSI’s support of legacy fleets operated by existing customers and provide access to specialty parts to the entire market through JSSI Parts.
George Kleros, SVP of Fleet Operations for JSSI said, “We have witnessed gaps in the engineering support of legacy products that force expensive upgrades and result in extensive downtime for the aircraft. Many of these are out-of-production aircraft that no longer receive adequate engineering attention, have existing parts considered beyond economical repair and then require expensive purchases of new parts.” Kleros adds, “We look forward to helping these operators lower their costs for these parts by working with ATS’ Aviation Services division to provide alternative solutions.”
“This agreement is a timely solution for our large fleet customers,” stated Jim Sellers, Director of JSSI Parts. “We are excited to be working with Advanced Technology Services to build an exchange pool of critical parts that are currently not easily accessible to these legacy operators and making them readily available. We also see tremendous opportunity to support operators and owners outside of the JSSI fleet with this special exchange pool,” added Sellers.
