Position Summary:

The mission of the Administrative Assistant, Aviation Service Programs position is to provide high quality support to the JSSI Parts team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high quality administrative support to the Vice President of Procurement and to the Purchasing team, including but not limited to, meeting logistics, travel coordination, and scheduling
  2. Coordinate with Technical Services Team on actions arising from Engine Trend Monitoring data reports
  3. Maintain Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan (“HAPP”), Collins Avionics Service Plan (“CASP”) and Engine Trend Monitoring Agreements (“TREND”) monthly flight hour reports
  4. Generate and process HAPP, CASP and TREND invoices to relevant suppliers
  5. Maintain Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan (“HAPP”), Collins Avionics Service Plan (“CASP”) and Engine Trend Monitoring Agreements (“TREND”) current contract databases
  6. Process HAPP, CASP and TREND enrollments & terminations
  7. Ensure required airframe records are received and analyzed for accuracy in connection with all maintenance events covered under the Contract  
  8. Ensure Engine Trend Monitoring reports are received and reviewed for any actions required.
  9. Coordinate with the Technical Services Team on Contract administration and records during maintenance events
  10. Maintain and update Company contracts and databases
  11. Ensure continuity of records in computer systems and cloud archives
  12. Maintain information on active airframes and engines to ensure forecasting accuracy
  13. Coordinate Exhibit C audits with the Records & Data Analytics Supervisor
  14. Gather and process aircraft information for all contract transfers and renewals

 

Education and Experience:

  • At least four (4) years administrative experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation is a plus
  • 2-3 years technical experience is a plus
  • A&P or Maintenance Scheduling a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills to deal with the public and the aviation industry
  • Ability to read and write articulately and analytically
  • Clear understanding of relevant technical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Mission Statement:

Position Responsibilities:

  7. Work with the Credit and Collections Team and Accounting Department to reduce the number of late payments and accounts receivable days outstanding.
  8. Work with Directors of Business Development and Technical Advisors to welcome new clients to JSSI and provide new client orientation after a new sale is closed.
  9. Work with client, broker and new buyer at time of aircraft sale to coordinate the process of transferring contracts.
  10. Liaise with Contracts Specialists to assist in the coordination of new contract preparation.
  11. Liaise with Contracts Specialists to assist in the coordination of the transfer contract process by ensuring that there are no outstanding issues with the previous contract, informing buyers about coverage, and handing off the transfer paperwork to the Contracts Specialists for contract generation. 
  12. Educate new clients about their coverage and contractual obligations and the company’s programs and services.
  13. Attend regional and national industry events to network with clients and represent the company.

Additional Responsibilities

Desired Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ account management or equivalent experience, preferably in the aviation or financial services industries.

1. Set up the preliminary scheduled inspections or major unscheduled events

2. Develops and maintains client relationships through periodic contact.

3. Grow and maintain relationships with regional service facilities, mobile repair teams, etc.

5. Review and process invoices in AMS, meeting turn time goals set forth by Technical Services Management and policy.

b. Handling it from start to finish with assistance when necessary.

7. Must have a thorough understanding of the current contract, policies and procedures

• Unrestricted work and residency authorization in the European Union is REQUIRED

• Airframe and Powerplant ratings (or its equivalent) REQUIRED

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) is seeking a well-qualified Helicopter Technical Advisor to be based in the South Central United States.  Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to live and work in the USA.

Position Summary:

NOTE:  GENERAL AVIATION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. 

The Helicopter Technical Advisor is the primary contact for JSSI Clients and will handle their needs on routine, unscheduled and AOG events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review, audit and oversee all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events and parts requirements.
  2. Manage customer events and utilize the Project Line Specialist (PLS) for events in which they need assistance.
  3. Possess knowledge of the complete JSSI Helicopter Program and be capable of discussing complex support questions.
  4. Liaise with JSSI Parts to support requirements as required.
  5. Effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with the customers, service centers and OEM’s to resolve any complaints or contractual misunderstandings.
  6. Obtain and review all work estimates as needed, submitted by the service centers for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  7. Review and process all invoices prior to being submitted to JSSI’s Chicago Headquarters for payment.
  8. Work closely with the customer to stay abreast of all scheduled work coming due and to schedule the maintenance and parts requirements.
  9. Routinely work with the customer to ensure smooth administration of JSSI programs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.
  10. Respond to technical matters and problems concerning JSSI clients and arrange timely and accurate diagnosis.
  11. Assist management’s accounting and administrative efforts in resolving payment disputes or collections problems with program customers by making individual contact with delinquent operators.
  12. Research logbooks and/or conduct visual inspections for new enrollments or existing contracts.

Position Summary:

The mission of the Honeywell Product Line Representative is to provide day-to-day operational support of a multi-million-dollar business. The Honeywell Product Line Representative will work collaboratively with JSSI’s internal resources to ensure JSSI Parts is capitalizing on every profitable opportunity. This role will serve as a primary contact for the JSSI Parts team for Honeywell Engines and APU’s. This role will support contracted JSSI’s Clients with Honeywell Engines (TFE, CFE, etc) and APUs (RE100, 36 series, RE220, etc.) with the objectives of (1) reducing JSSI’s maintenance costs through proactive provisioning of material, and (2) creating third-party revenue for the business by selling existing stock and creating brokering opportunities. The Product Line Representative is an entrepreneur and a business professional with integrity and the capacity to effectively grow and manage an operation.

 

Position Responsibilities:

1.       Learn all technical aspects of the various Honeywell Engines and APU’s that JSSI supports.

2.       Have a strong working knowledge in the values of complete assets and related parts.

3.       Manage the complete supply chain process in supporting material requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

4.       Learn JSSI’s existing Honeywell product offerings across various fleets.

5.       Work closely with the JSSI Parts Purchasing and Sales teams.

6.       Conduct financial analysis on purchase opportunities and market evaluations.

Position Summary:

5.    Coordinate case reviews and event turnover with respective Engine PLS

7.    Assumes responsibility of a technical case from the Engine PLS at key handover benchmarks

9.    Analyzes and pre-codes Scheduled Maintenance invoices in accordance with the contract terms prior to submitting for Tech Management approval

5.    Analyzes invoices in accordance with the contract terms prior to submitting for Tech Management approval.  These invoices can be tied to self-managed events OR events for which the Junior Technical Advisor has assumed responsibility.  This includes client reimbursements.

6.    Capable of meeting key individual performance metrics and assists in helping others reach their departmental/individual goals

7.    Assists with the process of requesting quotes for major Airframe maintenance

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Treasury & Corporate Development Manager is to contribute to the Company’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure with support for all aspects of the Company’s global operations. The Manager will support the Company’s Treasury Operations activities through use and further development of cash forecasting and cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company.  As part of the Corporate Development function, the Manager will be heavily involved in the global acquisition program for the Company and participate in the analysis, valuation, negotiation and documentation of potential acquisition transactions.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain corporate banking portfolio by coordinating bank account openings, closings, changes and updates to authorized signatories by preparing all required legal documentation, maintaining banking relationships both domestic and foreign.
  2. Perform daily cash management and create consolidated cash position reports for senior management.
  3. Analyze and review all operational cash flows for the organization and assure each entity has the optimal cash to conduct business.
  4. Work closely with the Finance Manager in the forecasting of the short term and long term financial position of the company, the preparation of the annual budget and completion of monthly and quarterly loan compliance reporting requirements.
  5. Evaluate need for the procurement of funds and investment of surplus.
  6. Contribute to the global cash and foreign exchange strategy and management.
  7. Manage and report external and intercompany loan transactions.
  8. Serve as Assistant Treasurer of our captive insurance company, Aviation Insurance Corporation (AIC).  Work closely with the Manager of Insurance Services regarding risk management activities including the coordination of loss control services via third party insurance and our captive insurance company.
  9. Effectively partner with other key internal customers (Accounting, Tax, Legal, etc.) to resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve process performance.
  10. Work closely with the Vice President – FP&A on acquisition strategy, searches, evaluations and contract negotiations.
